Sally-and-Braden

Owners of Mountain Bike Tours NSW
Braden Currie & Sally Schott

“After spending our whole lives traveling the world and spending every spare minute in the outdoors, we decided to create a company that offers people an outdoor experience with a sense of depth and realness. We prefer to describe our tours as “journeys”. Although all of our itineraries are planned meticulously, we pride ourselves in the fact that each and every one comes with its own flavour and own unique set of surprises. All of tours are a representative of our passion for good food, beautiful places, fresh air and awesome riding. Our experiences are fresh, unique and as ungeneric as we can possibly make them. We cater for the young and old, solo travellers and families of seven, hard core adventurists and cruisy laid-back holidaymakers. ?It’s your journey, it’s your experience and our job is simply to provide you with the opportunity to live it!”

Braden Currie

Braden Currie – Operations Manager/guide

“Curries gnarly knees whippet physique indicate he’s no stranger to a wet saddle and coming off one occasionally.” Sunday Morning Herald; article by Roderick Eime.
Braden Currie is a hearty kiwi true and true. His inherent passion for the outdoors and giving his body a good thrashing are evident upon meeting him. He grew up on a farm in Canterbury New Zealand, started traveling the world at 17, spent several years guiding a range of outdoor disciplines, and sharing his passion and love for the outdoors with youth. The last three years has unearthed a new passion for multisport and adventure racing. Upon moving to Australia he has reluctantly given in to competing in Ironman races for lack of multisport opportunity. But his love for outdoor adventure still lives on and he aspires to share his passion with all those around him.

Glen Currie

Glen Currie – NZ Guide

Glen is Braden’s older brother. Glen is also a passionate, dedicated multisport athlete. In his first year of competing, he came 24th in the biggest multisport race in the world. “The coast to coast.” Since then he has taken out many events in NZ. Glen’s dedication to thrashing his body and challenging his mental integrity are second to none. But on the flip side, he’s often seen at the famous blue pub in Methven sipping on some brewskies with his mates and enjoying the winter sunshine after a casual days snowboarding at Mt Hutt. Glen is truly a genuine lover of all things kiwi! He loves his homeland and thrives on the opportunity to share its hidden beauties and iconic gems with everyone he comes in contact with. Just be careful he doesn’t convince you to take up multisport.
